Born on 28th October 1955 to William H. Gates Sr. who was a renowned lawyer, and his mother Mary Maxwell Gates who was positioned on the Board of directors of First Interstate BancSystem, Gates completed his schooling at Lakeside Prep School, where he developed his first software program.
