Jawaharlal Nehru Speech 1

Good morning all and one present here. I feel obliged and fortunate enough to speak about the former Prime Minister of Independent India, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. Born on 14th November in Allahabad in the year 1889, he was loved by the younger children and known as Chacha Nehru. Soon after he completed his studies at Cambridge University, he was married to Smt. Kamla Devi. Later, they were blessed with a daughter, Indira.

Though he was a follower of peace and brotherhood he joined the Non-Cooperation movement after witnessing the plight of Indians during the British Raj. Soon after India gained independence, Pandit Nehru was elected as the first Prime Minister of Independent India, keeping in mind his important role in India’s freedom struggle. Though he died decades ago in 1964, Chacha Nehru still remains in the heart of Indians for his glorious achievements and selfless sacrifice towards the nation!

Jawaharlal Nehru Speech 2

Good morning to all present here. Today I am here to deliver an inspiring Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru speech. The slogan, “Aaram Haaram Hai” was given by Pandit Nehru. Apart from being a freedom fighter, he was also a politician and a great author who penned his autobiography, “Toward Freedom”. Since he joined India’s freedom struggle, he was jailed and imprisoned many times, but nobody could not stop him!

Followed by the establishment of the Independence of India League, he joined the Indian National Congress and later Mahatma Gandhi made him the President of the association in 1929. Being educated abroad, he believed in the power of education! Besides, he preached about science and technology!

Apart from being politically involved, he also established innumerable medical and educational institutions for the betterment of our country. Though he breathed his last in 1964, he is still alive in the hearts of Indians. In his remembrance, 14th November is celebrated as “Children’s Day” owing to his love and affection for children.

Good morning to my respected teachers and one and all present here. Today, I feel lucky to be able to stand here and deliver sir Jawaharlal Nehru speech in English. During his student days, he developed a keen interest in freedom fighting and later joined Mahatma Gandhi to fight for India’s freedom struggle.

After completing his studies in Britain he came in contact with Bapu and they both worked hard for India’s independence. Though both of them shared different beliefs and ideologies, both wanted the Britishers to leave India. While Mahatma Gandhi was in favor of an ancient India, Pandit Nehru dreamt of a modern India. He later altered the Hindu culture, which uplifted Indian women!

Apart from being a great figure in India’s independence, he was also a great writer who wrote, “Discovery of India”, and “Glimpses of World History”. He had also penned down several letters to his daughter, Indira Gandhi which were published later, “Letters from a father to his daughter”. The Indian Government has launched a program, “ BadshahAbhiyan” as an honor and tribute to the greatest leader of modern India.
