It was found that Selena Gomez, revealing her status as being single, makes fun of singles trying to find love on SNL while hosting the Saturday Night Live on May 14. She spoke out of the impression she’d been working on for a long.

Selena Gomez Hosting SNL

Where the dating apps are trending these days, Selena isn’t available on any, keeping her desire for love apart. She stated that she would want the world to be aware of the fact that she’s manifesting love. Kyle Mooney, James Austin Johnson, and Punkie Johnson all shot their shot with her after she told the crowd. As a hosting debutant, she could be seen seeking directions from the ones who have already been through the SNL ringer, impersonating Miley Cyrus.

Emulating Cyrus’ voice brilliantly, she revealed the advice her old friend, Miley gave her: “Just be yourself and have fun”. I was like, ‘Miley, is that just an excuse for me to do an impression of you on the show?’ And she was like, ‘Hell yeah, I’m Miley Cyrus.’

She was seen interviewing Steve Martin, playing one of the greatest inventors of the world, Archie Gizmo. He invented the whoopee cushion, which has had a significant impact on human history.

While Mocking Old Enough

In another joke, Gomez sends out her long-term partner to do some shopping for her, mocking the famous Netflix program “Old Enough” about toddlers being sent out to run errands. It rarely works well, as anyone who has sent their lover to buy their makeup can attest.

She comments in the sketch, “I’m incredibly proud of him, asking him to bring an eyeliner pencil and two shallots last night, and he came home with 10 lbs of onions and an African American women’s blush palette, so we should just break up.”

Another Phrase

Selena Gomez and Melissa Villasenor reprised their roles as two Mexican-American women who host A Peek At Pico, a talk program about their Pico Rivera neighborhood, in another entertaining sketch. The hilarity derives from the banality of their observations, such as Gomez’s obsession with her new eyeliner.

The eyeliner stabbed me in the eye,” she explained, “which is sad.” This is a show that many of us would watch.
