The Three Pindis In Vaishno Devi

Vaishno Devi is a Mother Goddess who is said to be a manifestation of Durga. Mata Rani, Trikuta, and Vaishnavi are some of her other names. She is considered to be a mix of Maha Saraswati, Maha Kali, and Maha Lakshmi. This is because, the goddess Vaishno Devi was created from the combined energy of the three Goddesses: Devi Mahakali, Devi Mahalakshmi, and Devi Mahasaraswati, who are symbolized by the three pindis in the Vaishno Devi temple.

Vaishno Devi Temple History

Shridhar was a fervent Ma Vaishno Devi devotee. Ma once acquired the shape of a young woman. Shridhar consented and went out to gather people after the girl urged him to organize a large feast for Vaishno Devi followers. He also called a guru, Bhairav Nath, who inquired about the arrangements.

Three hundred and sixty guests were invited to the feast and ate in his modest hut on the day of the feast. Bhairav Nath was taken aback by the small girl’s heavenly abilities and followed her to the Trikuta hills. He looked for her everywhere for nine months but was unable to find her.

Then one day he noticed the girl producing water from a stone by rapidly firing it with an arrow. She entered a cave after spotting Bhairav. Bhairav Nath dashed into the cave after her. She exited the cave by opening a route on the opposite end of the tunnel with her trident. Bhairav, on the other hand, persisted in following her.

Finally, she assumed her true identity and severed Bhairav Nath’s head. His head perished as a result of his abilities, but his body survived. He pleaded with the deity to pardon him. She not only forgave him, but she also granted him a favor, promising that devotees who came to worship her in her sacred cave would later visit his temple.
