The US Law Enforcement has stated that the US actor Alec Baldwin killed a cinematographer on the set with a prop gun and wounded the director of the film with the same item accidentally. The film which was being shot is “Rust”. Alec Baldwin will be playing the lead role in the case of an accidental killing set in the early 19^th century. Two people, Halyna Hutchins and Joel Souza were shot when a prop firearm was used by Baldwin. It had been a very unfortunate event, but as per the information that has been amassed, the shooting was not intentional on any level.

Hutchins, who was only 42 years old, was rushed to the hospital with the help of a chopper. However, she could not be saved due to the extensive nature of her wounds. At the same time, Souza was also carried to the hospital and he is now receiving treatments for his wounds. The 48-year-old man is no longer in critical condition. The Rust actress Frances Fisher had tweeted that Alec was being interviewed by the police. He had come to the sheriff’s place voluntarily. He also left the building once he was done with the interviews with the detectives. No charges have been filed and no arrests have been made till now.

The images which were published by one of the agencies in Santa Fe included Alec Baldwin looking extremely distraught. The images had been taken in the parking lot immediately after the tragedy. The actor was supposedly in tears after the accident. It was certainly one of the most tragic events that can ever happen on a movie set. The entire cast is devastated by the event and they have paid their condolences to the family of Halyna Hutchins.

There are strict regulations for the prop guns which are used on the film sets. There had been mishaps in the past and Alec Baldwin is not the only one to commit this mistake.
