According to section 62 of the RP Act 1951, a person’s name must be on the electoral roll of the district to vote.

2. Keep A Check On The Documents

If your identity is on the voter list and you have misplaced your voter ID card, you can bring another government-issued ID card with you. The Election Commission has mandated that all voters must provide their Elector’s Photo Identity Card at the voting site for identification. Those who are unable to present the EPIC must present one of the other photo identification documents listed below:
