Two cases of the omicron variant in India have been found and this has been quite concerning for the Health Ministry. The Joint Secretary of the Union Health Ministry, Lav Agarwal has informed that two cases have been found in Karnataka. It has also been found that the two people who were in contact with the 46 years old patient have contracted the virus as well.
There of the secondary contacts of the patient have been suffering from the disease as well. It has been assumed that the five patients have been suffering from the same variant.
Information On Omicron Variant In India
As informed by the Union Health Ministry, the reports and samples from the patients carrying the omicron variant in India have been sent for genome sequencing. It is assumed that they are suffering from the same kind of variant because of the contact they have with a single patient. The 46-year-old male was declared as Covid-19 positive on 22nd November. He has 13 primary contacts and 250 secondary contacts.
If the disease starts spreading at a rapid rate, it can be very dangerous for the nation in the long run just like before. It is also quite surprising that the 46-year-old male does not have any kind of travel history.

Six People In Contact
Six of the people who had been in close contact with him have been put under observation. None of them have been displaying any kind of serious symptoms at the moment. All of these people are completely vaccinated against the virus.
It is highly probable that this 46-year-old male has come in contact with someone who had the omicron variant in India from previous travel history. It is essential to find that person in order to ensure the stop of the spread of disease in the nation.
Will It Be Dangerous?
