The Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teachers or REET 2021 was held on 26th September, Sunday. The district administration of Ajmer suspended all kinds of internet and SMS mobile services for 12 hours, from 6 am in the morning to 6 pm in the evening. The services were suspended in the districts like Alwar, Dausa, Jaipur, and Jhunjhunu as well. Several rural districts lost their internet and mobile services as well. Only the landline, mobile phone, and broadband landline services were available during the time of the exam.
Total Number Of Candidates For REET 2021
REET 2021 was held on 26th September for the posts of 31,000 teachers. More than 16 lakh candidates had appeared for the exam. The exam was held in over 4,000 centers across the state. It was after 3 years that Rajasthan saw the conduction of such a major exam. More than 2.5 lakh candidates appeared in Jaipur alone, in 592 centers. The rush for the exams showed the desperate need of the youth to secure a job in the educational field. Social media services were banned in certain areas in order to avoid the leaking of question papers through online sources.

Source Of Employment For Many
REET 2021 was one of the most important exams which were held in Rajasthan this year. The exam is likely to provide jobs to almost 31,000 people. In the age of unemployment, this will turn out to be a lifesaving exam for many people. The measures which were taken in order to prevent any kind of cheating in the test were quite stringent. It was also necessary as most of the governmental exams have the history of question papers being leaked before the examination can actually take place.
