Is India Ready For Such Automated Cars?
India presents an interesting scenario in the case of self-driving cars. India has streets conducive to automated cars, but the traffic does not show much promise in this case. Tesla and Mahindra have tried to introduce cars that have the bare minimum automated features. It is quite expected that India will take some time to adjust to the concept of automated cars.
The laws in India do not have any provision for automated vehicles. This creates a vacuum for the companies which are dealing with automatic cars. The companies will have to wait till the laws related to automatic vehicles change in India.
