Clarification By The State

The state is being represented by senior advocate Harish Salve and State Additional Advocate General Garima Parshad. The court has mentioned that it is entirely dissatisfied with the proceedings which have been undertaken by the state in the Lakhimpur Kheri violence case. The special team which has been made by the UP police is not quite good either. Moreover, the Supreme Court has also asked the state to ask for a CBI probe into the matter.

It has also been noted that the minister who has been involved in the case is a Union Minister. It might be possible that there will be some biases even if the CBI takes over. These are some major concerns that are related to the case at the moment.
