The national general secretary of Bharatiya Janata Party, BL Santosh, met the UP BJP leaders. This meeting is going to be serious as Uttar Pradesh is likely to have its next election within one year. Santosh Meeting The UP BJP Leaders Regarding UP Elections

Santosh already met the deputy chief ministers of Uttar Pradesh, Keshav Prasad Maurya and Dinesh Sharma. He has also been in a meeting with the labor minister, Swami Prasad Maurya. He is most likely to meet the other ministers during this review process of the next year’s election. Maurya commented that BJP would be winning 300 seats in the 2020 polls after the meeting.

On Monday, Santosh had decided to meet the Union Minister, Radha Mohan Singh, and other chief members of the party. He also had a dinner meeting with Yogi Adityanath. The dinner was at the residence of Yogi Adityanath in the capital of the state, Lucknow. It was announced that the ongoing covid situation would also be discussed with the UP BJP leaders during these meetings.

Present Conditions Of Uttar Pradesh

Presently, Uttar Pradesh has been able to recover a bit from the conditions of the pandemic. According to the government reports, more than 64 districts have been announced as ones that do not have more than 600 active cases. However, the most crowded places in Uttar Pradesh are still under the restrictions placed by the government. Bareilly, Jhansi, Muzaffarnagar, Lucknow, and Varanasi will continue to be under restrictions unless their situation gets better.

The Population Of Uttar Pradesh

Uttar Pradesh is one of the most highly populated states in India. The state is supposed to go through the assembly UP elections in 2022. The number of seats in Lok Sabha for Uttar Pradesh is 80. There are 403 assembly seats. The state has a population of 200 million, and this will be a crucial election for the parties to win.
